LEGAL AND JUDICIAL

Reform

Strong legal and judicial institutions are crucial to ensuring that the law is implemented effectively and efficiently. Institutions in this context not only refer to organizations, but also to the rules of the game that regulate relationships among elements of society within a state across various aspects of life, including economic, political, social, and legislative domains.

Legal certainty is often associated with economic development, as it enables the creation of a safe and conducive business ecosystem that benefits both entrepreneurs and workers. Therefore, the fair and impartial implementation of the law requires the support of law enforcement agencies as well as a judicial system that is transparent and accountable.

KEMITRAAN remains consistent in advancing legal and judicial reform as part of its efforts to strengthen a more professional and just legal system, free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN), upholding human rights, and rejecting practices of conflict of interest in governance. This includes regulatory reform, improving access to justice, strengthening legal and judicial institutions, and ensuring that the law is applied equally without bias.
