The position will translate program evidence, research findings, MEL data, and field experiences into compelling narratives, policy briefs, and multimedia content to inform public discourse and strengthen stakeholder engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The role will also ensure that Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) principles and Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) standards are integrated into all communication and knowledge management activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Strategic Communication and Advocacy:<\/strong> Develop and implement an integrated communication, knowledge management, and influence strategy aligned with KEMITRAAN, TAF, and DFAT branding guidelines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Evidence-Based Storytelling and Content Production:<\/strong> Translate program data, research findings, and field experiences into impact stories, case studies, policy briefs, newsletters, infographics, factsheets, documentary clips, podcasts, and digital campaign materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Knowledge Management and Learning:<\/strong> Document best practices, lessons learned, and field innovations, while managing the program&#8217;s digital knowledge repository and organizing learning and reflection sessions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Media Relations and Stakeholder Engagement:<\/strong> Build and maintain relationships with national and regional media, journalist networks, opinion leaders, government institutions, CSO coalitions, and other relevant stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inclusive Communication:<\/strong> Ensure communication materials are gender-responsive, accessible, free from bias and stigma, and respectful of Indigenous Peoples and marginalized communities, including the integration of FPIC and ethical documentation standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Capacity Building and Partner Support:<\/strong> Provide coaching, mentoring, and capacity strengthening for program staff, CSO partners, and community groups on storytelling, ethical documentation, digital security, and knowledge harvesting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reporting and Documentation:<\/strong> Contribute communication and knowledge management inputs to periodic donor reports and consultant progress reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications and Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Knowledge Management, Political Science, Development Studies, or related social sciences. A Master&#8217;s degree is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 3\u20135 years of professional experience in strategic communications, public relations, or media, preferably within international development programs, NGOs\/CSOs, democracy, or human rights initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience translating complex research and program data into evidence-based stories, policy briefs, and strategic advocacy campaigns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated experience producing diverse communication materials, including articles, policy briefs, digital content, infographics, and impact stories.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in designing and facilitating learning workshops, reflection sessions, and managing digital knowledge repositories.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience integrating GEDSI principles, accessibility standards, and ethical FPIC\/consent protocols into communication and media production.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Established networks with national and local media outlets, civil society coalitions, and digital media platforms in Indonesia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in web Content Management Systems (CMS), design software (Canva\/Adobe Creative Suite), social media analytics, and digital outreach tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong facilitation, coordination, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contract Duration and Work Arrangement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The consultancy will run from <strong>1 November to 31 December 2026<\/strong>, with the possibility of extension in line with the PARTISIPASI Program 2026\u20132030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The consultant will work on a time-based arrangement of up to 15 working days per month, based on timesheets and submitted deliverables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Apply<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interested candidates are invited to review the full Terms of Reference (TOR) for detailed information about the assignment and its requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Application period 29 October &#8211; 8 November 2026.
