About the Project
KEMITRAAN – the Partnership for Governance Reform, invites qualified professionals to join the Adaptation Fund Pekalongan Project, which aims to strengthen coastal resilience against the impacts of climate change such as tidal flooding, sea level rise, and infrastructure damage.
Implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Pekalongan and funded by the Adaptation Fund (AF) under the oversight of the Ministry of Environment (KLH), the project focuses on improving infrastructure, promoting sustainable livelihoods, and embedding inclusive climate adaptation practices at the local level.
Key Responsibilities
As the Finance and Administration Officer (FAO), you will play a key role in ensuring disciplined, transparent, and compliant financial management to support timely project implementation.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Preparing annual budgets and monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Conducting budget vs. actual (BvA) analysis and variance reporting.
- Managing payments, disbursements, and documentation in accordance with SOPs.
- Verifying partner financial reports and ensuring donor compliance.
- Preparing audit-ready financial documentation and timely financial reports.
- Overseeing project administration, including procurement, travel, and event logistics.
Qualifications
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA/CA) is an advantage.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in project finance or grants management within donor-funded programs.
- Proven experience in budgeting, BvA, audits, and partner financial verification.
- Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations for NGOs and financial management of WASH/construction projects.
- Strong communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (ERP) is essential.
