Jakarta, 4 February 2010 – The Partnership will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding support to LEAD Indonesia (Leveraging and Educating Accountable Democracy) programme, which is designed to develop accountable democracy. The event is to be held on Friday, 5 February 2010 at 1300hrs at Hotel Sultan, Jakarta. The programme is conceived by national and regional development partners to achieve: (i) a functional democratic political system, (ii) the working of an integrity system and fulfilment of people’s rights, and (iii) consolidated decentralized governance. Sixteen projects, as implementing instruments of this programme, have tentatively been prepared for 2010-2014 period.

Malam kemarin, 8 Desember 2009, akhirnya bocoran dokumen konsep Kesepakatan Copenhagen (Copenhagen Agreement) beredar di kalangan delegasi COP XV dan media. Dokumen ini membuat marah sebagian delegasi negara berkembang. Selusin lebih delegasi negara-negara Afrika terlihat emosi dan melakukan aksi spontan di Bella Centre, Denmark.
Bocornya dokumen ini membuat Pertemuan Para Pihak (COP) XV Konferensi PBB mengenai Perubahan Iklim (UNFCCC) kelabakan. Tepat Pukul 01.22 pagi waktu Copenhagen, 9 Desember 2009, petugas humas UNFCCC mengeluarkan seruan media menanggapi berbagai informasi yang beredar dan kekhawatiran terhadap hasil COP XV.
