Partnership Strategic Plan 2007 -2011 (Presentation Package)

Executive Summary

The Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia (the Partnership) Strategic Plan 2007-2011 Presentation Package is a public relations document derived from the Partnership’s Strategic Plan 2007-2011 which was officially approved by the Board and Partners in December 2006. The 2007-2011 Strategic Plan represents a comprehensive alignment of program focus and vision, which effectively maps the organization’s core competencies in the field of governance reform, setting achievable delivery targets in areas related to programming, activities, communication and resource mobilization. The content for this strategy has evolved from lessons learned and accomplishments achieved during the Partnership’s initial operations from May, 2000 to December, 2006. During this time the Partnership pursued a sectoral strategy focusing on six key areas ofgovernance reform.  These were: Anti Corruption, Civil Service Reform, Decentralization and Regional Autonomy, Legal and Judicial Reform, Electoral / Representation Reform, and Security and Police Reform. Activities and programs in these sectors have been respectively supported by the Partnership Facility Fund and the Partnership Trust Fund. The Partnership’s orientation during this period and the various impacts of its considerable programs and activities are briefly summarized in the section entitled ‘Background/Achievements to Date’.
